Throughout my time at Samford University, I have been blessed with numerous opportunities to develop myself through various projects, internships, and experiences. The paragraphs below provide brief descriptions of the experiences and highlight some of what I was able to learn and accomplish through the experience. Grace Klein Community

Grace Klein Community (GKC) is a nonprofit in the Birmingham area dedicated to fighting back against food waste and food insecurity. Grace Klein works to unite diverse individuals, businesses, ministries, and churches to share resources, meeting physical and spiritual needs locally and globally.

I had the opportunity to intern and provide several deliverables to GKC, including (but not limited to) social media content, marketing analytics, and a full social media marketing campaign proposal.

Internships

Over the course of my time at Samford, I have had the opportunity to work several internships that have had lasting impacts on me. The two internships that I would like to highlight are with the Birmingham Bulls and Birmingham Sports.

Both internships have allowed me to grow professionally and learn real-world hard and soft skills that I believe to be highly transferrable.

Class Projects

During my time at Samford, I have had the opportunity to complete both simulated and real-world marketing projects for various clients. The projects have ranged from full product development to marketing case studies to international sports partnership recommendations and more.

Each project has taught me something different about the marketing world and about what it means to be a good team member.

Personal Projects

Outside of the academic setting, I spend time engaging in various hobbies. One recent hobby I have enjoyed is content creation, especially in fitness and recreational sports. Dating back to summer of 2022, I have undertaken a handful of projects for both myself and my peers that have ignited in me a deep passion for creating all sorts of content for all sorts of platforms.

Some of my favorite content creation categories include photography, videography, and (most recently) blog-writing. Each form of content creation serves as a unique avenue of creative expression.

Certifications and Additional Skills

I have had the amazing opportunity to earn multiple certifications while at Samford. Each certification has given me the knowledge and skills to strengthen my marketing toolkit and establish myself as a professional marketer. In addition to the certifications, I have developed proficiency in various CRM systems, social platforms, and editing softwares.
